CMHA’s Community Counselling programs involve direct service either with mental illness, additions or concurrent disorders. We provide transitional housing for those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. We also administer employment support through our Supportive Employment and Inspire Futures SAO programs.
Current Wellness Groups & Workshops offered include: Men’s Anger Management, Living Life to the Full for Millennials, Strong Women Rising, Suicide Bereavement, Managing Powerful Emotions in the Workplace, Healthy Masculinity, Support for the “Support” of Mental Health, Soft Skills Solutions, Safe Talk, ASIST, Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace, How to ‘disclose’ your mental illness in the workplace & Mental Health 101, and Jump start to Job Ready.
Our Mission – To promote mental-health wellness and community integration, we provide services offering hope and support to the people in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties through advocacy, education and transitional housing.
