About Us

Events by Cindy has been organizing and hosting Women’s events for over ten years!

We started with a “Girl’s Day Out” at Capers in Downtown Belleville which was a fun day out where women shopped, nibbled, enjoyed a talk by Natropathic Dr. Tanya Lawson and pampering by Dianna Cairns team from Polish Day Spa & Salon and grabbed a bit of swag.

From there I expanded “GDO” and moved the event to Linguine’s Italian Restaurant in Belleville and added a sit down three course lunch, a fashion show by Brandy Calvert Ringelmann of Off the Hook and a charity raffle basket with proceeds going to a Women’s Shelter. I remember the joy and energy of this day, I loved it.

The idea of doing a women’s show was exciting and I was pleased to be invited to participate with the Quinte Home Builders Association at their annual home show in Belleville. In the upper mezzanine we showcased products and services for women, women (and men) were pampered, we had fun in a Photo Booth for head shots and a bit of music according to the local newspaper “stole the show”. It was so fun. The “Quinte Women’s Show” was born.

For the next six years, I was thrilled to bring the Quinte Women’s Show to the Trenton Arena and partnered with the Quinte West Chamber of Quinte West Chamber of Commerce the weekend of their Home & Lesiure Show. Local women business leaders were invited to participate in a three day show.

On October 5th I am excited for our guests to enjoy Wine, Women & Song - Casa Dea Estates Winery for the 2nd year.
