About Us
SubZero Sweets specializes in transforming beloved candies into delightful treats. Through our unique freeze-drying process, we remove all moisture from the candies, resulting in a crunchy, airy texture that enhances their flavor. Currently, we are proud to have our products available in a few local retail outlets, as well as participating in fundraisers and events. Our goal is to expand our presence in the Quinte region and establish partnerships with more retail outlets.
In addition to SubZero Sweets, I've also launched Stirling Strawberries, a strawberry patch offering both pick-your-own and pre-picked strawberries. This year, we're introducing an Employee Appreciation program where businesses can purchase either one or four quart baskets of strawberries to be delivered directly to their businesses. This initiative not only shows appreciation to hardworking staff but also supports the local community by donating proceeds to the NICU in Kingston and the MFRC.
Personally, I have a strong passion for giving back and supporting those in need. That's why I've committed to donating to the NICU and MFRC to support the families of the local military.
The decision to support the NICU holds personal significance for me as my brother and I were premature babies, born 13 weeks early. I am deeply motivated to give back to the place that played a crucial role in shaping the lives we live today. By contributing to the NICU and the MFRC, I hope to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others while honoring the support that was extended to my family during our time of need.
