Veronique Dorval, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Bio:
Véronique is a seasoned strategic business leader with over 24 years of experience driving growth, leading transformations, and building client-focused, digitally-enabled operating models. As Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at BDC since August 2022, she oversees Financing, Growth & Transition Capital, and Advisory Services, ensuring integrated and impactful solutions for Canadian entrepreneurs. Her previous roles include Senior Vice President and Chief Client Experience Officer at Sun Life Financial, and Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company. A CFA charterholder with a BBA from Université de Sherbrooke, Véronique is deeply committed to advancing women in leadership and supporting youth and elder care through her involvement with organizations such as Fitspirit, Eugeria, and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens.
