Many managers mistakenly assume that leadership style is a function of personality rather than strategic choice.  Instead of choosing the one style that suits their temperament, managers should ask which style best addresses the demands of the work environment, also known as the organizational climate. This is critically important, as research has shown that the organizational climate can profoundly influence financial results.
In fact, it can account for nearly a third of financial performance.
