About Us
We are a Boutique Houseboat Rental Company operating along the extraordinary Trent-Severn Waterway between Lock 1 in Trenton and Lock 21 in Peterborough.
H2O Getaways offers a Bareboat Charter. You provide the Captain, Crew & Provisions and choose your route, activities and destinations.
Lock one is the beginning of your great adventure…. You choose a destination, set the pace and you are off.
Anyone Captaining the boat must have their Pleasure Craft Operators Card (PCOC). Our staff provides a comprehensive on-the-water training session so each guest feels comfortable heading out on their own.
Our houseboats are equipped with paper charts as well as a GPS system to keep you safe and on track.
Unique to H2O Getaways, our houseboats are equipped with bow & stern thrusters, giving greater control in moving the boat from side to side. Extremely useful when entering and exiting the Locks.
