As part of the Chamber Access Series, members are invited to participate in a 15‑minute one‑on‑one conversation with Bay of Quinte Riding MP Chris Malette. These sessions offer businesses a private, focused opportunity to raise issues, ask questions and share real-world impacts of federal policy on day-to-day operations.
With evolving global trade conditions, ongoing tariff discussions, supply‑chain pressures, and labour challenges, these conversations offer an important forum to ensure local business perspectives are heard.
These sessions provide a direct channel for businesses to:
- Discuss trade tariffs, export barriers, and cross‑border challenges
- Ask questions about federal regulations, compliance, and legislation
- Share concerns related to cost pressures, inflation, and supply‑chain reliability
- Explore labour force solutions, including immigration pathways and skills development programs
- Learn about federal funding, incentives, and business support programs
- Build relationships with your federal representative and contribute to informed decision‑making

These conversations may also be used to develop policy resolutions for review by our Government Affairs Committee, the Board of Directors, and/or taken forward to the Ontario Chamber of Commerce.
